Rooted in Care: Your Questions, Answered
At Root & Rise, we know that healing looks different for everyone. Whether you're visiting for massage, coaching, or breathwork, it's normal to have questions—especially when you're choosing to invest in your well-being. These answers are here to help you feel informed, comfortable, and supported from the very beginning.
Let’s Settle Your Nerves Before You Arrive

What to Expect
Whether it’s your first time at Root & Rise or you’re returning for deeper healing, every visit is designed to help you feel grounded, supported, and empowered.
Before You Arrive
All scheduling is now handled directly with April (online booking is closed). Once your appointment is confirmed, please plan to arrive 10 minutes early for your first session to complete a short paper intake form in person. This helps us understand your goals, preferences, and any sensitivities so your session can be as supportive and personalized as possible.

When You Walk In
You’ll be greeted by soft lighting, calming music, and the gentle scent of grounding essential oils. The space is quiet, warm, and intentionally curated to feel like a sanctuary. You’ll have a moment to settle in before your session begins—there’s no rush here.
During Your Session
Your therapist or coach will check in with you briefly, ensuring you feel safe and comfortable. You’ll be invited to share anything that feels important, or simply settle into silence if that’s what you need. Whether you’re receiving bodywork, breathwork, or coaching, each session is guided by your pace and your body’s wisdom.
After Your Session
You’ll be gently guided back to waking life. We recommend you take your time, hydrate, and allow space in your day to process or rest. If you need to chat, rebook, or ask questions, we’re here for that too.

No-Show Policy
Because my practice is now part-time with limited availability, each appointment is reserved especially for you. If you are unable to make your scheduled session, please provide as much notice as possible so I may offer the spot to someone on the waitlist.
-
No-Shows: If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, you will be responsible for 100% of the appointment cost. Payment for the missed session must be made before booking any future appointments.
-
This is not a deposit on future services—it is payment for the time reserved that was missed.
-
Repeated no-shows may result in the inability to rebook.
Thank you for respecting my time and the time of other clients who may be waiting for an opening. Your understanding ensures that I can continue to provide quality care for everyone who walks through my door.
